Hourly Wage Opportunities Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (3/18/10) Aerostar International – Sioux Falls, SD Responsibilities: · Unload, inspect, count, verify, and store received materials. Audit freight bill. · Pick up goods ordered from local vendors. · Handle orders for scrap material sales. · Order supply items associated with the shipment of products. · Provide outgoing freight quotes for sales. · Handle calls from vendors regarding which freight carrier to use. · Prepare and inspect outgoing shipments for proper packaging, labeling, quantity, etc. Properly handle shipping for hazardous materials. · Complete proper documents for customs for overseas shipments. · Load freight. Operate shrink wrap machine, scale, or forklift. Qualifications: High school or equivalent education. Minimum of 10 years related shipping and receiving experience. Knowledge of UPS, Fed Ex and other air shipments. Proficiency with computer operations. Must be quality-minded, organized and able to work independently or with a team. Materials Specialist (3/11/10) Electronic Systems Division – Sioux Falls, SD 8:00am – 4:30pm, M-F QUALIFICATIONS: High School or equivalent education. Three or more years of Purchasing or Inventory Control and/or clerical experience with advanced skills preferred. Ability to research delinquent orders and follow-through on status of orders. Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to operate successfully in a fast paced business environment. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (oral and written). Strong computer skills, including MS office and email. Must be proficient in Excel. Strong keyboarding skills, especially 10-key. JOB DUTIES: Handles weekly reschedules with suppliers and maintains open purchase orders accordingly. Verifies timely incoming shipment of parts and contacts vendors regarding delinquent deliveries. Edits open purchase order report monthly with suppliers to check for discrepancies. Maintains supplier performance database.  Conducts research to support special customer requirements for the Purchasing department. Prepares various inventory/purchasing reports. Handles part change notifications. Maintain and escalate End of Life and Part Change Notices received from suppliers. Balloon Manufacturing (2/18/10) Assembler/Installer I Aerostar International – Sioux Falls, SD 7:00am – 3:30pm, M-F QUALIFICATIONS: Operate light industrial equipment in a production environment to assemble and install atmospheric balloons, aerospace products, or a product in accordance with drawings. Perform setup and operation of equipment. Perform preventative and minor maintenance on equipment. Prepare products for shipping. JOB DUTIES: Experience in production work is necessary. Must have proficiency to work with blueprints and work procedures.
