Job Duties: Work with the Internal Sales Manager and National Market Sales Manager to meet the sales goals set forth by the National Sales Manager and the Division Manager by soliciting new business, maintaining the current customer base through regular contact and calling new potential customers. Coordinates the processing of orders from customers with the Credit, Scheduling, Traffic and Shipping departments; verifies pricing, discounts and terms on all orders. Process sales orders including confirming, entering, and follow-up if needed. Shares information with the National Market Sales Manager to help establish a marketing plan. Contacts prospective customers to solicit new business through telemarketing under the guidelines established in the marketing plan. Sets up new potential accounts in areas determined by the National Market Sales Manager. Investigates and expedites product warranty claims and complaints in accordance with marketing policies. Job Duties: Provides technical assistance in the areas of new product development, product improvement, failure analysis and quality control. Duties will include laboratory testing, maintenance of laboratory equipment, helping with manufacturing trials, managing research projects, report writing and occasional field trips to investigate product failures. This position works closely with product development, business development, marketing, sales, engineering and quality control. Perform a number of standard and non-standard tests for the evaluation of product properties and performance. Will need to become proficient at running all test equipment at EFD and be able to help develop new test procedures. Maintains laboratory testing equipment.
